If you are planning to accompany the camp participant to UCONN for a day or two below is an outline of area hotels and restaurants surrounding the campus.

HOTELS

ON CAMPUS

Nathan Hale Inn (Hotel on campus)

The hotel is offering discounted room rates of $155 per night for UConn camps. Use the code "CAMP" during registration.

OFF CAMPUS
 
Manchester, CT (about 25 minutes southwest from campus) is the closest area with many hotels to choose from. Manchester, CT has a large shopping area off of Hale Rd. (Buckland Hills Mall, Target, Walmart, and every other chain you can think of ... as well as a large selection of restaurant chains). There is also a more upscale Evergreen Walk area with shops and restaurants.
